ADK (Advanced Design of Kentucky was founded in 1998 by one man (Scott), out of a love for computers and a hunger for newer and better technology. In 2001, the demand for professional video editing workstations had grown beyond the capability for one website to handle. Thus, in 2001, ADK Video Editing was born to provide the highest-quality video editing computers at the best prices around.
We are now housed in 4000 Sq Ft, a 2000 Sq Ft Show room with a 2000 Sq Ft Manufacturing area.
Our show room includes a recording studio, video editing suite, Newtek Demo and Apple demo area's. We also stock a good amount of Audio/Video hardware and software.

We are not just another computer company. We design systems specifically for video editing
and test them with the software prior to adding them to our website. We also use the products we sell, so we know what to recommend and can support what we sell.
We are committed to purchasing and selling only the finest products available. We don't just choose our product line based on dollar amounts, but we test every system and offer configurations designed and built for each software we offer.
In building our custom computer systems, we keep with the same philosophy. We use quality, brand-name products, and we're always on the cutting edge of technology. If it's on the market (and sometimes if it's not) we've tested it, and if we like it we sell it!
We don't keep systems sitting on a shelf ready to ship. Each computer is hand-crafted to match the specifications that will best match your needs and budget. It may take a little longer to get a system that way, but as they say "good things come to those who wait."

Scott is the owner and founder of ADK.

Often found: At his desk entirely too much, on the phone, snacking on chocolate (entirely too much), micro-managing, posting in forums.

Instrument: He claims to play Piano but no one has seem him do this, other than his wife (and she's not saying a word).
Favorite pastime: Anything outside in the yard (gardening), Remodeling, making the Princess giggle, making the wife giggle, a rainy Saturday watching B-movies and eating junk food (a guy can wish),
cooking for people (He likes to show off).

Often found: At lunch, pretending to be reading emails when RDP'ed to his computer at home playing Starwars.

Often found: Wondering aimlessly thru the building, wearing a conteplative look whilst starring at his monitor, only to find the screen is blank.

AKA: "Hill Billy"

Often found: On the side of the road collecting road kill, cooking chili made with road kill, chasing small furry creatures, growing his own food, in small smoked filled clubs in the low budget part of town.
